Statement:
For us the battle for Liberty is one between World Government and National Sovereignty. Washington in his farewell addressed warned about entangling alliances, both economically and militarily. He stated that we have a different set of interests than those of Europe. Europe is based on ruler's law. We become the first nation in modern times to be based on people's law, power originating with the people rather than from the top down, through the "divine right of kings. We have violated that advice for over 100 years, getting into wars we never should have been in. Our first responsibility is to ourselves, our families, our culture, and our country. If another culture wants to emphasize hating the latter, they should not be allowed here...or be deported. Hate America is not a pledge of allegiance. AZ candidates don't seem to have any real idea what's going on ...on the border(ATZLAN/visa Russia). If they and you read the invasion issue, you will know the truth. Our President is not telling the full story either!? As Stalin once said, the way into the United States will be through...Mexico!!!

Statement:
The practice of health care is a microcosm of what it is to be a United States Senator. My patients or constituents have day to day problems. Most issues are identical to those heard on the Senate Floor. Health care, soaring insurance costs, and drug prices are a common topic. Most issues require a closer investigative approach to flush out the root cause. The same process would be used by me in 'committee' as your Senator. Inspired, life changing solutions come about as the result of identifying the underlying key issues and the intended impact on people's lives. This may involve the coordinated effort of health care specialties, insurance companies, and state representatives. It will always involve contract law, and the judicial system. I have served Arizona residents for over 30 years. As a health care provider, 50% of my time was in the delivery of patient care while the remaining time was in the pursuit of positive results for patients and changes to the 'system'. The passage of Obama Care in 2010 pushed Arizona residents and the Country into crisis. The health care system needs the Doc.

I believe in healing and I believe in love. These are more than concepts and should be part of the consciousness in our national, state and local politics. I believe in personal liberties, especially sovereignty over one’s body. I believe in the right to use plant and fungi medicine for physical, mental and spiritual well-being. I believe in being a custodian of nature and preserving the beauty of our natural world for generations to come. The ineptitude of our Federal legislators indicates that we need more than two choices to represent us. We need legislators who carry the burden of common sense and practice the mindfulness necessary to create safe communities for families of all faiths and beliefs. What we have now are legislators who can’t answer questions and only fight each other and call the other side “radicals” and “extremists.”

I am someone who believes in Goodness; that if we can mange to be more selfless and generous as individuals and more merciful and forgiving towards one another, we will bring forth a world that is more peaceful and prosperous, one abounding in liberty and justice. My skin is black, I am an immigrant, and I am also Muslim, but I see myself as both part of this country and as a sincere friend unto the American people. I would love to see this country, along with the world and humanity as a whole, reach its full potential and our Brothers and Sisters as happy, healthy, and fulfilled as possible. I am not someone who has a thirst for money or an out-sized appetite for material possessions; I just like women and children (and good people in general), serving The Creator, and the simple things in life.. There is little doubt in my mind that if I were elected to Congress, I would do very well for this great country and the men, women, and children of Southern Arizona.

I believe in collaboration, teamwork and inclusion for the greater good of the majority...and I am realistic enough to know that it won't satisfy all. Like many in Arizona, I am a transplant. Originally from Wisconsin, I put myself through college working in factories and construction and after joined the military. Emily Robinson was born and raised in Arizona. With a background in technology and science, Emily is keen on ensuring proposed legislation considers the impacts and costs for effectively implementing new laws. She does not want new laws that will create more problems than they solve. An effective government must consider a balance between the land, the people and businesses. Ideals are worthless unless they can be written and implemented in a realistic, cost-effective and efficient manner. Her commitment aligns with a government run by the people and for the people. It is time for an overhaul of Washington with leaders willing to do the right thing for the people. Money, special interests and politics have created more drama than progress. Emily will listen to the people she represents and foster legislation that aligns with the interests of our community. Education, job opportunities and stability for our seniors must be a priority. Emily Robinson is running with the intention to regain ground for our communities and defend our unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. A little about myself: I have a strong background in education in which I have taught for many years and have seen (hands-on) some of the greatest challenges our education system faces as a whole as a result of shifting needs in the workforce of our society. These changes must met through excellence in and understanding of our education system, and so it is from one of the platforms from which I speak and seek your help. I look forward to serving you and the collective needs of the community through hard work and honesty in hopes of bettering the quality of lives I represent. I believe that all people have the right to "quality of life". I will be working on creating a campaign website for any comments or questions you may have. I will update that information once it is established. Thank you very much and I hope to represent you in the coming year. Best regards, Roxanne R. Rodriguez

It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the people of Congressional District 8 in the U.S. Congress. Since first being elected, my staff and I have dedicated ourselves to helping constituents and addressing issues that affect our district, our state and our nation. From tax relief for working families to removing burdensome regulations on businesses to strengthening our national defense, I’m proud of the work we have done. But there is so much more to do especially in the area of improving healthcare, border security and fighting the coronavirus pandemic. I hope you will join me in bringing commonsense conservative solutions to the issues our country faces today. You can count on me to fight for all residents of District 8. I would be honored to have your support for another term in the U.S. Congress.

There has never been a time where leadership, work ethic, and putting people over political party has been more important. I'm a 36 year old CD-8 native, father to two little boys, husband, small business owner and entrepreneur. I am running for office in the district I grew up in against an incumbent that has been our representative for 1/3 of my life. I am proudly running for Congress to work hard for our families, our businesses, our veterans, our teachers, first responders, workers, seniors, students, and our future regardless of political party. The time for talking about healthcare, immigration, and improving our lives is over. We need one of our own to get the job done for all of us. I've played professional baseball, held a career as a director and crew chief for major music artists world tours, earned my bachelors degree, and have owned a small business in Glendale for seven years. Everything I am is right here and where you come from means something to me. We are all going through this together. I'm the fighter the West Valley has never seen before. It will be an honor to represent my hometown come November 2020.

I’m a REAL "guy next door" who has never DREAMED of being involved in politics, but I have commonsense, morals and values; and it has broken my heart watching the very fabric of America get dismantled over the past 4 months. I'm a husband and father who wants my kids to grow up with the same memories of this great country I have - not walking around with masks on, going to school on screens, afraid to make new friends or speak their opinion for fear of offending someone and getting "cancelled." I will work hard for you, for ALL of us in the West Valley, to bring the "guy next door" mentality to Washington and stop these radical changes from stealing our country. I don't have all the answers, I don't pretend to - I want to work WITH people to get this country United again, bring back civility & a patriotic culture, respect for one's self and others, preserve our history, defend our freedom of speech, enact term limits, and try to swing the pendulum back from the scary direction it is headed. Bill grew up in Arizona and graduated from ASU with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He then graduated from law school from St. Mary's University. Bill has a long history of public service in Arizona. After fighting police and judicial corruption in Chandler, Bill was appointed at age 27, Presiding Judge of the Chandler Municipal Court, where he served for six years. Bill served in the Arizona House of Representatives for six years and was Chair of the Environment Committee. During his tenure, Bill wrote numerous laws protecting Arizona's environment, including a historic law preventing Arizona from becoming the nation’s dumping ground for hazardous waste, the state’s first recycling law, laws protecting our native plants, rivers, and the Phoenix Mountain Preserves. Bill served as a Commissioner on the Corporation Commission for nine years (1999 to 2009). When he was Chair, Arizona was one of the first states to require its utilities generate a percentage of their electricity from renewable sources, solar and wind. In 2006, he co-authored the current renewable energy requirement in Arizona: The REST Rules. They substantially increased the required renewable energy percentage and at the time, made Arizona a leader in the installation of rooftop solar.

The Arizona Corporation Commission's Mission, quite simply, is to power Arizona's future. This means oversight of utility services, growing Arizona's economy through attracting and encouraging new business, and protecting Arizona citizens in enforcing an ethical securities marketplace. The "Mission" also states the Commission is to modernize an efficient, effective, and responsive government agency. I am running for a seat on the Arizona Corporation Commission because we must be more responsive in attracting, encouraging, and growing sustainable resources for Arizona's clean energy future. Commissioners are responsible for making policy, sitting in judgment, and advocating on behalf of Arizona citizens. I have been a resident of Arizona since 1957 and come to this position having served two terms on the Cave Creek Town Council, a term on the Town's Board of Adjustment, many years as a board member and environmental activist, a teacher in our public schools, and the mother of two sons. It is obvious Arizona is increasingly falling behind in implementing clean, sustainable, and renewable energy sources. It's time to take the lead, set our environmental priorities, and elect individuals who will vigorously pursue sustainable outcomes and resources for Arizona's citizens.

I will continue to work to provide a safety-net for all our citizens impacted by Covid-19, in areas of health, employment loss and the disruption of our children’s education. Fulling funding our public schools while improving the working conditions for our dedicated teachers is a must. I am also committed to expanding vocational opportunities and upgrading our workforce by funding and supporting programs like JTED. It is essential that our three universities/community colleges be recognized, treated and funded as engines of economic development in Arizona. Peshlakai's culturally diverse district spans the seven counties of Apache, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Mohave, Navajo, and Pinal — including the communities of Fredonia, Page, Winslow, Show Low, and St. Johns. Nine tribes comprise most the district's constituents—Hualapai, Havasupai, Kaibab Paiute, San Juan Southern Paiute, Navajo, Hopi, White Mountain Apache, San Carlos Apache and Zuni Pueblo. The district is the most extensive legislative district in the contiguous United States, stretching from near Lake Mead to the Four Corners National Monument, and south beyond Globe. It contains some of the most beautiful parks and natural wonders in the world—the Grand Canyon, the San Francisco Peaks, Monument Valley, the White Mountains, and the Colorado River.

I am running for the Arizona State Senate because I care about my community and will fight to make Arizona a better place to live, work, raise a family and retire. In addition to your representative since 2016, I am an environmental law professor and the proud mother of a TUSD student. In Phoenix, I introduced legislation to fund our schools, teachers and staff, expand career and technical education, support families in need, promote clean energy and prevent the cycle of crime and poverty that is swelling our prisons. I proudly received a 100% score from the Children’s Action Alliance, an A from the Sierra Club, and the Friend of Cities and Towns award from the League of Arizona Cities and Towns. Arizona’s tradition of independence is more important than ever as we see the harmful impacts of the Trump Administration’s policies on our economy, people and environment. I will work alongside my colleagues to lead our country by example. There’s so much more I want to do for our community. Thank you for your vote to return me to the legislature.

JoAnna Mendoza is a retired Marine, mom, and native Arizonan. She’s a small-town kid from Pinal County who overcame incredible obstacles. Her childhood experiences working in the cotton fields forced her to develop a fighting spirit. At seventeen, JoAnna answered the call to serve our nation and joined the military. After 20 years of honorable service, she returned home to Arizona with her son. While serving our communities as a congressional staffer, she noticed the struggles people continue to face in our district. JoAnna never planned to run for office, but she saw the need for elected leaders who will fight for Arizonans. We deserve an Arizona where everyone has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of zip code – with access to a quality public education, high-paying jobs, affordable healthcare, and a sustainable environment. A place where all children can grow up in safe and prospering communities. JoAnna understands the issues impacting Legislative District 11. She has the experience, skills, and commitment needed to make positive change. Lynsey was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She believes that immigrants are part of the fabric of America. Specifically, Haiti has a long history with the U.S., dating back to the Revolutionary war, where Haiti fought alongside America to help it gain its independence. We are living in unprecedented times. Now more than ever we need a pragmatic leader who is not short sighted, but understands how to mitigate damages and have a balanced approach to legislation. Though women outnumber men in our district they have yet to be represented. We need leaders that look like our mothers, wives, and daughters so that their voices no longer remain silent and the issues unique to them are treated with dignity. The pandemic has placed a spotlight on the areas where our state is most vulnerable. Our schools more than ever must have the support that it needs to meet the needs of our students. Whether online, in-person or both; every child deserves a quality education no matter their zip code. A quality education is essential for our children to fulfill their full potential and for America to remain competitive in the world. Arizona's future is in the classrooms of today.

It has been my honor to serve as your State Senator. While everyone campaigns as a conservative, I can offer my actual conservative record, which is pro-taxpayer, pro-family, pro-life, and pro-Constitution. My focus continues to be limiting the size of our government while ensuring that what it must do, it does as well as possible. My family owns and operates a 4th generation dairy farm in Buckeye and our Arizona roots are deep in the soil. I’m grateful for the support of so many in our district, both in Maricopa and Yuma County, and I’m hard at work on the various concerns we have, from water to transportation to classroom funding to school safety to lower taxes to border security to protecting our 2nd Amendment rights, I’m going to keep working on all of it. God has truly blessed our country and our state but it is our responsibility to protect them both. Arizona is a national leader in job growth, school choice, educational improvement, and regulatory freedom. I ask for your vote and I promise to continue my work as a reliable conservative.

I am running as your write-in-candidate based on the fact that many voters in LD13 are highly dissatisfied with the incumbent Sine Kerr due to her support of Red Flag laws (SB1519), a Liberty Index score of 70 which almost makes her a Democrat, her supporting refugee resettlements in AZ, raising taxes, and voting to adjourn the Senate on May 8, while there were over 20 good bills in the House to vote on. This adjournment gave Governor Ducey unchecked powers during the Communist China Party virus, which closed many Arizona businesses and unemployed many. LD13 does not need a puppet for Senate President Fann and Governor Ducey. The voters of LD13 need an independent Constitutionalist Republican to fight the status quo and to fight for conservative causes for the voters of LD13. Sin is not worthy. I am your anti-politician, anti-establishment, anti-tax and anti-politically correct candidate. Principle over party all the time. It is the U.S. Constitution, every issue, every time. No exceptions, no excuses. You can find further information at backusaz1st.com. In Liberty...thank you. Brent Backus

I was honored to serve you in the State House for 8 years, where I was named Champion of the Taxpayer, Friend of the Family, earned an A+ from the NRA, turned our state’s budget deficit into a surplus, and helped turn Arizona into the #1 pro-life state, #1 pro-2nd Amendment state, and #1 pro-school choice state in the country, all while cutting regulations and growing jobs. As a result of my leadership I was elected House Majority Leader and ultimately elected Speaker of the House, giving rural and Southern Arizona real influence, and making myself a top target of the liberal media and their fake news. I returned to the private sector, and was asked to run for the State Senate to ensure we have a proven conservative looking after our district. You elected me in 2018 and I’m keeping my promises -- fighting the left, defending what’s right, and giving you my all, because I know how important the freedom of the people I’m fighting for are. On behalf of my wife, my kids, and every one of the great volunteers helping in this effort, I ask for your support so we can continue winning this fight together!

I believe that democracy is best served by a vigorous discussion of the issues facing our state government. For too long opposing viewpoints are routinely ignored by our state elected officials. A strong multi-party system helps ensure that those in power are held accountable by the voters. Arizona state government must Invest in public education that guarantees ALL students in Arizona outstanding schools, build a modern infrastructure; stop tax breaks to special interests; allow local governments to govern; support economic fairness; champion diversity and inclusion, create an environment for sustained economic growth that provides good jobs and good pay checks for workers in rural Arizona while protecting our precious natural resources and environment; protect a women’s right to choose; and ensure access to affordable comprehensive healthcare for all. If elected, I will work hard as your state representative to be a voice for southeastern Arizona counties of Cochise, Greenlee, Graham and Pima. I pledge to listen to everyone, respecting those that do not agree with me; representing all of you, ethically, honestly, effectively and professionally. Republicans have controlled the state legislature for over three decades. It is time for new leadership in southeastern Arizona.

It is an honor to serve the constituents of District 15 in the legislature as a conservative fighter for your freedoms and values. My husband, Joe, and I grew up and raised our three daughters in the valley. As parents and now grandparents, business owners, and citizens, we've seen firsthand that freedom can't be taken for granted, it must be vigilantly defended. That's why we got involved. As a representative, protecting our individual liberties has been my primary goal. I have made it my job to look out for the individual - the person without a voice - and challenge the failures and injustices of entrenched government and other interests that diminish their freedom. District 15 needs limited and accountable government, secure borders, health care freedom, education that works for for every student, the freedom to peacefully live out your faith, and protection of every innocent life. I am your conservative fighter with a record to prove it. I listen, I solve problems, and I will never compromise our values. This is an important moment for our district and for Arizona. I thank you for your support and I ask for your vote.

I’ve protected your 2nd Amendment rights, defended the Constitution, protected the unborn, fought for border security, advocated for veteran's rights, fought Federal overreach, protected family values, cleaned up the Department of Child Safety, and more. I helped lead the effort to pass a Balanced Budget Amendment, I’ve won the Friend of the Family and Hero of the Taxpayer awards, fought to block ObamaCare, and opposed Common Core in favor of high education standards that come from Arizona parents and teachers. During my time in office I’ve written laws that helped create jobs, cut red tape for our small businesses and entrepreneurs, helped employees get wages rightfully owed, directed more money into classrooms, protected survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, established safeguards to stop the financial exploitation of seniors, and promoted veteran-friendly college campuses. For these efforts I’ve won Guardian of Small Business, Champion of the Taxpayer, Friend of the Family, and Open Government Leader awards. I even had the honor of being elected Arizona Speaker of the House, where I crafted good balanced budgets that reduced tax burdens while increasing school funding. I personally sponsored the largest education investment in state history, dramatically boosting teacher pay 20%. As your current state senator, I wrote the bill authorizing more savings for the state’s rainy-day fund, which proved critical for this economic crisis, and pushed a resolution for greater border security. My priorities remain: protecting life, protecting taxpayers, job creation, improving education through increased classroom funding and increasing teacher pay, and keeping our children safe from online predators. This past legislative session, we’ve navigated our way through the health crisis by supporting small businesses, helped residents stay in their homes or apartments, and continued to fund schools and teachers during the shutdown, meanwhile protecting health and safety. I’ve supported efforts to secure our border (that means building a wall!), to stop ObamaCare, and to give parents a greater say in the education of their children. Still, I remember that my mission is to serve you all and so I continue to focus on improving our economy and attracting jobs, strengthening the family unit, protecting our state’s sovereignty, and restoring our Constitutional rights. I advocate for secure borders and I have a 100% pro-life and pro-2nd Amendment record. I have earned both the “Friend of the Family” award and the “Hero of the Taxpayer” award. I work for you and I promise to reward your support with a continued commitment to limited government and effective representation. I am running as a team with Ben Toma and Frank Carroll and know them to be outstanding conservatives as well. We ask for your vote!

Statement:
For the past ten years I have represented LD 24 in the Arizona Legislature, eight years in the House and currently two years in the Senate. It would be my honor to continue to serve as the Arizona State Senator for LD 24 in the 55th Legislature. Throughout my career as a lawmaker, I have championed our public schools and universities, advocated on behalf of our most vulnerable communities, and worked to find common ground with my colleagues and pragmatic solutions to the challenges confronting our state. Accessible and affordable public education that prepares Arizona's young people for 21st Century careers, improving the lives of children and families, working in support of housing for the homeless and low-income families, and defending the civil rights of all of Arizona's citizens will continue to be my priorities, should I be re-elected to represent LD 24 in the Arizona State Senate. A native Arizonan and the proud product of our public-school system, from kindergarten to graduate school, I believe in the potential of our young people and Arizona, which is why I will continue working for the people of our great state as LD 24's State Senator.

My parents, brother and sister all escaped from South Korea in 1978. The former South Korean govt tried for many years to see us returned and face the death penalty. That corrupt government finally gave up and I went from an asylum seeker, to a permanent resident, and later a US citizen. I know what freedom means and the hope and opportunity it can give anybody willing to work. As I became accustomed to the United States I worked hard and graduated from college. I then met my wife and was blessed with 2 boys. Now grown, one works here in the valley and one is serving in the US Army. I stand for freedom, liberty and justice. These are not just casual words but a belief that the American way is the best way in the entire world. For 20 years I have lived in Arizona. I built a business, raised a family and worked in the community. I want to represent you! To insure that this way of life, the life that has been so good to me, is available to my children and my grandchildren.

I want to improve the lives of those who live in our district regardless of political labels, economic status or backgrounds. I grew up poor in south Phoenix in a multi-cultural home, the youngest of 9 children. People are afraid to walk in the parks or neighborhoods, cars stolen, homes burglarized, business robbed, and citizens murdered. This district and the victims of these crimes deserve a Senator who will do something about the crime rate. The crime rate has a direct impact on economic development. Higher paying employers will not come until the crime rate is brought under control. Reducing crime will reduce auto and homeowner’s insurance and increase home values. I will protect your right to send your child to a traditional public school, a public charter school, in home school or school out of our district. The current incumbent doesn’t support your right of school choice. Criminal justice reform, mental illness, homelessness, water, education and poor internet service are some of the issues. I owned businesses and want to create opportunities that lift people out of poverty. Join me in making a better safer caring community. Learn about my candidacy by going to www.garlandaz.com

Judy Burges has remained a true un-apologetic “Constitutional Conservative” throughout her years of service in the legislature. She considers herself a “WE THE PEOPLE” Christian candidate that has a proven history supporting Constitutional freedoms such as: the 2nd Amendment, less government, lower taxes, border security, state sovereignty, free speech, school choice, pro-family values, and one’s right-to-life. President Reagan clearly stated “Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom, and then lost it, have never known it again.”

As an elected representative, it is one’s duty to: protect your constitutional rights, represent local district interests, and to scrutinize the work of government for accountability as part of checks and balance. A representative can also draft, introduce and vote on legislation. It is NOT a representative’s sole duty to raise revenue through taxes or seek federal subsidies that indebt our state. However, some do because it is easier than finding solutions to problems such as education funding, employment availability, healthcare, and better paying jobs. For too long, representatives have believed their duty is to introduce legislation and make more rules and regulations which restrict your freedoms and create debt. It’s not a contest of who passes the most legislation or gets the most awards. Representatives are defenders of your civil rights and guardians of constitutional rights for every American. As a Conservative Republican, I will defend the right of every parent to have school choice for their child, for Americans to freely practice their religion and follow their convictions. I support our veterans, law enforcement and strong border control. I support fair trade and immigration policies that keep families safe and together with a clear pathway to Citizenship.

I’m Joel John, candidate for the Arizona House of Representatives in Legislative District 4. District 4 needs a representative who will prioritize your interests, someone with deep roots in the district. Our economy is powered by both small businesses and agriculture. We have unique education needs and hardworking people. It should be easier to run a small business and produce crops in our state. I will work to eliminate unnecessary roadblocks so our district’s economy can grow. Our kids are top priority. I grew up attending our public schools in District 4, my kids attend public schools, and I'm a former public school teacher. We should have the best schools in the state right here in District 4. I will give you a voice in your child’s education by returning more control to the local school districts where it belongs. Finally, I will protect our constitutional freedoms. I believe in our right to defend ourselves, the right to life, free speech, and religious freedom. As a husband, father of four, fourth generation Arizonan from a farming family, and CEO of a small agricultural irrigation business, I’m uniquely qualified to represent you. I look forward to serving you.

Her leadership was integral to the Drought Contingency Plan agreement in 2018, bringing states, tribal nations, farmers, and other Arizona stakeholders together to ensure a sustainable water supply for the state. Charlene has also championed quality healthcare by promoting affordable drug prices and opposing junk insurance plans. She’s supported high wages for workers through the minimum wage that has been credited for recent income growth in Arizona. She’s sponsored gun safety legislation to address the crisis of shootings. With 30 years of experience in education, rising from teacher to superintendent to construction supervisor to consultant, I have much to contribute to Arizona’s educational crisis. Having a Doctorate in Education - Curriculum and Instruction; along with a Master of Science, Construction Management; a Master of Arts, Supervision and Administration; and Bachelor of Arts, Vocational Education means that I can relate to the struggles of the unskilled worker or the college graduate, the administrator wrestling a budget or the electrician wrestling with new city codes; the management of people and the management of materials. With a lifetime of experience, now is the time to capitalize on my experience and credentials to benefit the community. My top priorities are education; quality of life such as democratic participation, access to health care, a safe and clean environment, living wage jobs, and affordable housing; and reducing mass incarceration so that Arizona is Number One in Education not Incarceration. I bring my most important values of honesty and integrity to the issues in my district: water policy, roads and infrastructure, and stable employment. I currently serve on the Land, Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Transportation committees in the House.

Statement:
My family has lived in Northern Arizona for four generations. My grandfather moved his family to Flagstaff in the 1940s to work as a lumberjack. I still live here with my daughter in the house he built. I first ran for office because the local government wasn’t listening to the people they represented, and for the last 12 years I’ve had the great pleasure of public service. I’ve seen people come together to support each other, to support our schools, churches, and institutions, and to create home-grown solutions to local issues. Together, we brought a Veteran’s Home to Flagstaff, helped incubate small businesses, funded after school care, and expanded library hours. I’ve seen education funding in Arizona fall to 49th place. I’ve seen small business owners fight obstacles to bring their dreams to fruition. I’ve seen the legislature pass legislation that prevents communities from solving their own problems. This is why I’m running for the Arizona State House. Our families deserve quality schools. Our small businesses need support to help them grow. Our cities and towns need the freedom to make their own decisions. Together we can preserve the spirit and character of rural Arizona—because we, too, are Arizona!

With 15 years of County and local government elected experience, I am an innovative, independent and dynamic leader. I bring a strong work ethic, a small business owner's perspective and a fundamental belief we should all play by the same set of rules regardless of access to money, power or political influence. I don't accept any corporate PAC or dark money. I'm an Independent because I believe the politics of problem solving is increasingly being lost to the politics of rigid partisan ideology. The tax payers who pay our salaries expect us to focus on solving problems and creating opportunities, not playing rigid partisan political games. As a practical small business owner, I understand the best ideas are not constrained to a single party or ideology. People are justifiably frustrated with dysfunctional partisan politics. I build alliances and support smart, strategic ideas - regardless of whether they come from a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or Independent. I support rigorous fiscal management and policies that strengthen families, small businesses and communities of northern Arizona. Art Babbott for the Arizona House of Representatives. Independent..like Arizona!

I’m in my second term and I'm keeping my promises -- to be a strong voice for rural Arizona, to protect taxpayers and keep our budget balanced, to increase school funding and teacher pay, and to improve our transportation and water infrastructure. I've kept those promises and many others. As the only rancher in the legislature, I’m involved in lots of issues dealing with the ranching, agriculture, and farming communities in our state. I have a pro-Constitution, pro-family values, and pro-taxpayer voting record because I know that preserving and expanding freedom is my most solemn responsibility. My record is 100% pro-2nd Amendment, 100% pro-Life, and 100% pro-Taxpayer. And I continue to fight to ensure we get our share of funding for projects like the Tonto Bridge, often over the objections of Maricopa County legislators. There are too many politicians at the State Capitol and not enough of us regular folks who do the jobs that make Arizona work. I'll keep working my tail off to do the very best I can for you and I ask for your vote. On behalf of my awesome wife Diana and our amazing kids, thank you for your support and your continued trust!

It has been my privilege to represent you in the Arizona State Legislature. I have lived in Arizona my entire life and have operated a farm and small business for many years. My wife is an educator. My son was born and raised here; the grandchildren live here too. In meetings with thousands of ordinary people in our district, they have told me about their concerns and I take them very seriously. Three issues have repeated come up - education, jobs, and public safety. I have made working on these issues my number one priority at the legislature. I will continue to work to make our communities safe through adequate police and fire protection, continue my efforts to improve educational opportunities for all and to get better teacher pay and more resources into the classroom. I have received a lot of recognition for playing an important role in putting policies in place that attract jobs to rural Arizona. I will continue to work for policies to create more and better jobs. You have my word that l will always put you and your family first in the State Legislature. I would be honored to receive your vote.

I practiced medicine for 30 years as a Physician Assistant. I worked most of my career in rural, underserved communities like the ones I hope to represent. My patients were migrants who worked the field or pregnant teens who were scared and needed support. In emergency rooms I saw patients who could not afford their insulin nor see a dentist. I saw how hard working people struggled to afford and access the care they needed. After I retired I knew, that as a state legislator, I could still make a difference in the lives of people in my district and state. Arizona needs legislators who understand the complex world of healthcare and can speak with authority, make pragmatic decisions and craft laws that will benefit children, families and people in need. Government should serve the people ,not just big business or give special interest tax breaks. I will work for fully funded public education, Charter school reform, job training programs, a living wage for everyone, equal rights, and the healthcare everyone needs..

Brendan Lyons is an energetic and results driven candidate. Over the past decade, he’s earned a positive reputation as a community leader and has developed a track record of winning quality of life improvements for Arizona. His journey into public service began when he fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a firefighter. As a public safety advocate, he became concerned about distracted driving after responding to far too many crashes. In 2012, he launched “LOOK! Save A Life” in Southern Arizona, which fosters an environment of safety for all who utilize our public roads. A year later, he became a statistic of the very message he was advocating; struck from behind by a distracted motorist while bicycling. As he recovered, he threw himself into fighting for tougher laws against distracted driving, putting pressure on local jurisdictions throughout the state to adopt policies to make our roads safer. Then in April 2019, Governor Ducey signed Arizona’s Hands-Free bill into law. Brendan holds a Masters in Public Administration focusing in Collaborative Governance. Southern Arizona deserves a brilliant future and Brendan Lyons will continue to be a results-driven leader who works across party lines to deliver on issues that we all care about.

I have had the honor to serve as State Representative for LD 9 since 2015. I am also a physician, surgeon and professor of surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, right here in Tucson. As a legislator I believe it is the state’s responsibility to ensure the core values of equality, opportunity (including equality of opportunity), and safety are reflected in its actions. During my tenure at the legislature I have worked to support appropriate funding for Arizona public schools. I will continue to make appropriate funding and support for our public schools a priority if re-elected in 2020. I also stand for a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions, responsible gun safety legislation, access to quality healthcare, the ability of cities and towns to self-govern without undue preemption from the state, the protection of our environment and natural resources, ensuring that exercising the right to vote is not restricted, and supporting infrastructure in Arizona (roads/highways/railways, technology growth, water conservation, as well as K-12 education and our Universities). I believe that by supporting and growing Arizona infrastructure, small businesses will prosper and corporations will expand in Arizona creating job growth and a robust economy.

I am running for re-election to the Arizona House of Representatives. Many times on the floor of the House, I have stood up for the rights of women, children, workers, teachers, patients, small business owners and everyday folks. As a Progressive Democrat, my platform is based on investing our tax dollars in the People's To-Do List: education, infrastructure, healthcare, and safety and security-- instead of giving tax dollars away in tax cuts for corporations and special interest groups. I believe in equity for all, and I back ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). As a Mom and a Grandma, I want to strengthen Arizona families by focusing public health efforts on improving maternal and child health. As a former small business owner, I believe that economic development efforts should focus on helping local small business owners and entrepreneurs develop their ideas and grow their businesses. My background is in communications, medical research, public health, and management. I have a BA in Journalism from Ohio State University and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Arizona. I live in Midtown Tucson with my husband Jim. Tucson is my home, where I raised my son, sold homes to families, and then built and ran a small business. I work hard, solve problems, and know the meaning of value in our lives. Our children’s education is a quagmire that is ridiculous and unacceptable. The value of owning a home is simply unquestionable. Government regulations should never bind our teachers and parents or our ability to build and own a home, and now they do. Police and Military must be fully funded for our safety. I am running because I love Tucson and I love people and will always be available to talk and listen to you. I remember one of the happiest days of my mother’s life was the day she received her citizenship. Her belief that anything is possible with hard work and dedication inspired me to become anything I wanted to be. I want to be your LD10 Representative and am asking for your vote. I have dedicated myself to reducing the size and impact of government over our lives. Politicians of the past have spent us into oblivion, and it will not be easy to restore sanity in spending in the halls of bureaucracy. We need tough representation that holds people accountable for what they do with our tax dollars. Over the last two terms of service, I have demonstrated strong leadership, conservative values, and fidelity to our Constitutions, both State and Federal. We have turned a corner in Arizona, and I believe we are on the path to correct errors of the past with a common-sense approach to limited government. Mine has been a life of service in both the private and public sectors, and service often means sacrifice. That worth having always has a cost; our children are depending on us to make wise choices resulting in personal freedoms, employment opportunities, and a balanced state budget. I ask for your vote to keep the momentum going toward personal freedom, economic security and a debt-free future for ourselves and our Posterity.

The coronavirus catastrophe has proven itself a direct result of incompetent leadership across the board during this unprecedented crisis. The majority of those that lead us in our federal, state and local government have failed us, presenting weak division in determining the right course of action when we need strength in unity. Our leadership lacks even the basic knowledge of how to mitigate and contain an outbreak or public health crisis. Now is the time for action and leadership from all levels of government. This crisis has exposed holes in our democracy that need to be filled with tested leaders, ready for any scenario. I am prepared to take that charge and provide my much needed military leadership experience to our great state.

What an amazing state we live in! Breathtaking beauty, affordability and economic growth are all reasons why I choose to live in Arizona with my wife and three boys. I’m a pro-life pro-freedom conservative that will stand up for limited government, individual liberties and pro-growth policies. I love this state and I know this district well. I grew up here! I attended public schools in PVUSD from Kindergarten to Senior year, GO HUSKIES! We must demand high quality, high performing schools and ensure every parent can choose the best school for their child. I went back to school while working to get my Masters Degree in Public Administration at GCU. In addition to education I also value service. I served eight years as an Army Officer, leading a team of Soldiers in Afghanistan as a Captain in 2008. My professional experience consists of management in retail, healthcare, non-profit and government sectors. All of those experiences culminated in me running my own business, a local junk hauling and recycling company called Junk King. Above all I want to protect and grow this great state. If elected I will keep a mentality of servant leadership at the heart of everything I do.

He is a limited government, pro-life, pro-freedom conservative, with a vision to reform and innovate for Arizona’s future. Justin was born in West Texas where his father worked in the oil industry. His ancestors instilled in him the importance of commitment, loyalty, and hard work. It was Justin’s time on his family’s farms that showed him the importance of having a pro-business environment for the economy to thrive. He got his start in politics/government in 2004. From there, he served in state policy and grassroots positions in Oklahoma, immersing himself in how state laws impact us on a daily basis. Later, because of the amazing career and economic opportunities offered here, Justin decided to make Arizona his home. He served at the Arizona House of Representatives as a policy advisor for the Republican caucus where he learned the needs and priorities of Arizonans across the state. Justin holds a BS in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University. Justin intends to bring principled, conservative, visionary leadership to Arizona’s House to protect and extend Arizona’s bright future!

I am a veteran, a businessman, and an entrepreneur. I know how difficult it is to find a good job, make payroll and provide health insurance. I know the headaches of meeting budgets as well as the importance of an educated workforce, the dangers of illicit drug use, and the significance of our children’s dreams to society’s future. District 16 needs a STRONG CONSERVATIVE voice and representation. Our city and counties are not receiving their fair share of state funds and I will work to get more road and infrastructure dollars. I support securing our borders and amnesty is not the answer. We need to secure the border and do it now. Employers need an easy way to verify legal status. Arizona must stop spending our limited resources providing health and education benefits to illegal immigrants. Our teachers just received a 20% raise without any accountability for the failing AZ Merit/AIMS test scores. Our College are bankrupting our children before they even get to the workforce. Arizona must work smarter and closer with the local communities to promote growth, education and opportunity. I am asking for your vote to be your voice for more responsible Government. VOTE JOHN FILLMORE Thanks.

As the MOST CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN candidate, I’m running to keep Arizona red and stop us from turning into California! I am 100% Pro-Life, Pro-Constitution, Pro-Limited Government, Pro-Family, & Pro-Religious Freedom. I’m a lifelong Republican and currently a PC and State Committeeman for LD-16. I’m a born and raised Arizona native, but I’ve traveled all over the country while earning a B.A. in Philosophy from BYU, an M.A. in Literature from ASU, and a J.D. from USF in California. I’m fluent in Spanish having served church and medical missions in Texas, Mexico, Ecuador, and Nicaragua, so I understand better than most what is needed to secure our borders and stop illegal immigration. After joining the Arizona State Bar and spending several years in private practice, I’m currently a legal policy advisor at the Corporation Commission where I draft policy and legislation that has limited government and put money back into the pockets of Arizona rate payers. With my education and training, I’m the most qualified candidate to start fighting back on Day 1 against the democrat agenda infusing our legislature. Arizona voters deserve new conservative leadership with a proven ability to deliver results and solutions. Remember PARKER on your PRIMARY ballot.

After moving to Chandler in the late-90s, Arizona is the place I call home. It’s an amazing state but the things that make it successful are under attack. Ironically, liberals fleeing high-tax, high-regulation states are moving to low-tax, low-regulation states like Arizona, but they’re bringing their liberal policies and voting habits with them. We need to make sure we don’t let this leftward push ruin everything that’s working in Arizona. I’ll work to protect school choice, teacher pay increases, and strong K-12 support. I’ll advocate for secure borders and the enforcement of our laws. I’ll work for a strong economy and safe neighborhoods. And I’ll oppose efforts to raise taxes or give government greater control over our lives and daily decisions. As a servant leader for the last several decades, I am committed to you and I will work tirelessly to get the job done! I’m a wife and mother, blessed with three great kids. I’ve worked in real estate for the last 15 years and have served in a variety of community and industry positions. I have always enjoyed listening to your stories at your door, or in community meetings, or sometimes at the grocery store! As your representative, my work centers on building opportunities for high quality public education, the innovation economy, and a healthy environment. Our parks, waterways, and roads are vitally important to our quality of life, and our neighborhoods need support to maintain their beauty and safety. In order to make serious steps forward we need long term plans and legislators who work in teams, not in silos. I've formed teams to work on a variety of issues including fair elections, government accountability, criminal justice reform, and high-paying job opportunities. We, the leaders of these groups, communicate regularly. I lead and focus on these topics: "Education Funding" should be fair, adequate, sustainable and transparent. "School Accountability" for charter school reforms to address the problems in the headlines, while supporting what works in charter and district schools. "Tenants and Landlords" for streamlined contracts that can help renters and landlords, and reduce evictions in Arizona. "Neighbors Council" continues to develop solutions for access to mental healthcare and suicide prevention.

To improve student and school achievement, Wendy will fight for resources and better qualified teachers. Strong public schools protect democracy for “we the people” by teaching citizenship. Quality public schools also teach effective job skills. Healthcare must be affordable and accessible to everyone in Arizona. Wendy supports expanding Medicaid in Arizona with prescription coverage. Arizona’s economy relies upon Cattle, Cotton, Citrus, Copper, and Climate. To increase jobs and grow the Northwest Valley, Wendy advocates for developing Construction, Conservation, and Computer industries. Kathleen has written safety grants and advocated for students with special needs. She knows, first-hand, how to navigate bureaucratic red-tape and address the challenges we face in getting politicians at the Capitol to act for the public good. Tax payers, citizens, and voters should not feel lost in their own system of government while trying to solve everyday problems. As a Grandmother, Mom, Wife, and Daughter, Kathleen is familiar with the everyday struggles Arizona families go through. With an academic background in finance, Eric understands the importance of making smart investments in good times and bad, an insight desperately needed in our Legislature. To have a strong economy we need to create opportunities for businesses and jobs. To build a strong Arizona we need to prepare future generations with the skills to create those businesses and fill those jobs. This means investments in public education so all Arizonans can realize their full potential. It’s providing local control to county and city governments so the people closest to home can help build thriving communities. Maybe most importantly, it’s time to bring civility back into our politics. If this pandemic taught us anything, it’s that we’re all in this together and to move forward we have to look out for our neighbors and build each other up. Eric lives in Scottsdale with his wife, also a public school educator, and their son.

Statement:
Jen was paralyzed in a random shooting in 2004. While in a coma, her insurance company dropped her coverage citing a preexisting condition. She awoke to find she had lost everything; her family, her home, and her career. Her early fights for her post-injury survival sparked a journey of service, advocacy and community leadership. Jen has traveled the nation working on one of the most contentious issues of our time, gun violence prevention. She helped organize Arizona’s largest gun buy-back program. Along with her fight to prevent gun violence, Jen has worked for universal healthcare, policing reform, fought for civil rights protections for the disability and LGBTQ community by working to pass the historic Phoenix non-discrimination ordinance. Prior to her injury, she was an active “PTA mom” and a successful business woman. Her goal has been to leave a legacy for her child, who was 12 at time of her shooting, and by extension, create a better future for all our children.

I am Rusty Bowers, a fourth-generation Arizonan, husband of Donetta, father of the magnificent 7 with 19 grandchildren, artist, legislator, and one wanting to do good with my time on this earth. I have served the people of my district through a span of nearly three decades, successfully navigating many of the difficult issues faced by the State during that time. I both lead and follow as the issues demand and have a reputation of being tough but fair. Well aware of my imperfections, I try to be a humble man and have learned the truth of the Emerson quote: That which you persist in doing becomes easier - not that the nature of the thing has changed but one's ability to do it has increased. I have learned through the incredible variety of experiences of my life skills and leadership that make me comfortable and capable working within the political world for the cause of good in an effective way. I want to serve you likewise.

Statement:
The Loughrige family has been in Tempe since 1933. Bill retired as a Senior Special Agent for the US Customs Service after 35 years in Law Enforcement. After retirement he has operated a PI Process Serving and Security Guard service. Active in the community, Bill is currently President of the Tempe Sunrise Kiwanis and the Walker Fire Protection Association near Prescott, AZ. A wage earner all his life, and part of a large active family, he believes a strong family is important. Freedom from governmental restrictions allows success and a strong culture. There is a place for regulation, but they should be aimed to allow growth. Government restrictions have made keeping a nuclear family together difficult and at the same time made access to help so restrictive that many people just give up and sometimes even end up on the street. Bill’s platform is independent living and security for seniors and children. We need to know our children and seniors are safe and secure in their life and possessions. We need government to shore up partnerships with private organizations to provide food, shelter and safety for those that need it.

My name is Seth Marcus Sifuentes, and I am running for the Arizona State Legislature in District 26. I am a Navy Veteran, husband and father of three, a blue-collar worker with experience as a helicopter mechanic, field engineer in the semi-conductor field and a Naval Reservist. One thing I have never been is a politician. I was too young when the 2010 Tea-Party kicked off, but the power of a grass-roots movement in shaking up a political system was truly inspirational to me. We made a return to the political model that was laid forth by our founding fathers, that public policy is not meant to be dictated only by lawyers, executives, and lobbyists. It is also meant to be run by the farmers, manufacturers, medical professionals, teachers and more. My goal is to fight for the middle class. I am not accepting any PAC or corporate money of any type, because I have faith that with a strong enough message and help from voters who truly care about their community we can accomplish our mission and make the future of Arizona brighter for our children and grandchildren. Continued Service, Seth Marcus Sifuentes

Melody Hernandez grew up in the southeast valley of Arizona to a first generation Mexican-American family. Stunned by violence plaguing our country on the news and in her community, Hernandez was called to help those in need. At Arizona State University, Hernandez was previously the Communications Director of GlobeMed, a student-run group that “aim[s] to create awareness about various global health issues.” In her spare time, she provides medical aid to asylum seekers in the community as needed. Hernandez has a deep history of service because she believes that we can all do our own part to make a difference. Her previous volunteer work included tutoring students with special needs and in emergency shelters supporting children experiencing homelessness and domestic violence. Activism for Hernandez started at a young age, having grown up attending demonstrations with her family supporting immigration reform and protesting police brutality. She is a proud union member. Most recently, she was the Democratic Legislative District Chair representing parts of Mesa, Phoenix, Tempe and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

Hi, I'm Helen FokszanskyJ-Conti. I came to America as a baby after World War ll, when my parents fled from Communism and settled in America. We were non-English speaking refugees, looking for the American dream, we knew what hard work and sacrifice was and we were ready to give it our best. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to come to America and I feel after nearly 50 years of living in Glendale and volunteering in the community that I would like to continue my service to the community by representing my friends, family, and neighborhood in the state legislature. I am a God fearing, Conservative, Christian business woman that upholds the US Constitution. Currently working in the medical field. I have been representing you in this district as a precinct Committeeman and at times as a State Committeeman since 1985. I am a long time resident and have deep roots in LD29.
